Given the substantial slope of the site, the dwelling has been designed to work with the site topography and existing cut. With the aim of reducing the overall height and visual bulk to the street and neighbouring properties. The house has been split into levels that follow the natural fall of the site, joined with a central void to allow for light and connection between spaces.
The house is wrapped around a central pool with an emphasis on framing views, whilst allowing the house to be filled with natural light. The interior material palette is calming and neutral, with layers of texture to create depth and interest.
